- MV Agusta Superveloce 75 Anniversario breaks cover
- Only 75 units to be built
- To go on sale for 75 hours
MV Agusta is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year and to commemorate the occasion, it has revealed the 75 Anniversario limited edition model of its gorgeous supersport, the Superveloce. Interestingly, the number 75 holds great importance here. Apart from signifying the total years of MV’s existence, 75 is also the number of units of this special edition to be produced. What’s more, it will go on sale only for 75 hours, starting at 6pm EST on 14 November.
Although beauty is subjective, most of you will agree that the Superveloce boasts of a breath-taking design, just like every other MV Agusta offering. Things that further beautify the 75 Anniversario trim include Italian flag tricolor livery on its fairing, golden wheels, a red Alcantara seat, a numbered aluminum plate on steering head and a special cover for the bike. For a performance boost, the owner also gets an ICU with a dedicated map and Arrow exhaust which can be used only on the race track.
Under the fancier skin, the 75 Anniversario is the same as the standard Superveloce 800 with a 798cc, inline three-cylinder engine which also does duty on the F3 800. It churns out 145bhp at 13,000rpm and 88Nm of peak torque 10,600rpm. The electronics package of the bike includes an eight-level traction control system, a bi-directional quick shifter and cruise control.
Bookings for the MV Agusta Superveloce 75 Anniversario will be taken through the company’s official website at a token amount of €100 (Rs 8,820). Prices of the motorcycle will start at €25,000 (Rs 22,05,036).
