- - MV Agusta launches Superveloce 75 Anniversario
- - Sold out within seconds of launch
- - Based on standard Superveloce
MV Agusta, on occasion of its 75th anniversary, announced a limited edition model called the Superveloce 75 Anniversario. Based on the standard Superveloce, this anniversary edition is limited to 75 units only and was supposed to be on sale for 75 hours starting 14 November. But, in a true blink-it-and-you miss-it scenario, all 75 units were sold out within seconds of the launch.
The Superveloce 75 Anniversario is a dressed-up version of the regular Superveloce. Adorned in colours borrowed from the Italian flag, this limited edition is an absolute head-turner. And if you don’t believe us, you can have a better look at the motorcycle in a detailed image gallery here.
According to MV Agusta, the Superveloce represents the perfect balance between modern forms and MV Agusta’s racing legacy. Hence, it was choosen as the base model for the anniversary edition. The Superveloce 75 Anniversario is powered by a 798cc inline three-cylinder engine which also does duty on the F3 800. It is good for 147bhp at 13000rpm and maxes out at 240kmph.
