For starters, MV Agusta has launched three motorcycles in the Indian market – the Brutale 1090, F3 800 and the F4. The Brutale 1090 is a litre class streetfighter, which carries a price tag of Rs 19.3 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). The F3 800 and F4 on the other hand, are fully-faired superbikes. While the former has been priced at Rs 15.99 lakh, the litre-class F4 retails at Rs 25.99 lakh (both ex-showroom, Pune).
All these models will be imported to the country as completely built units (CBUs), though setting up a local assembly unit is also on the cards. Deliveries of the motorcycles to the first few customers has already started.
MV Agusta has entered into a partnership with the Kinetic Group for the Indian market. Under the agreement, Kinetic Group will be responsible for providing spares, service and aftersales support for MV Agusta customers in India. The Kinetic Group will also set up a chain of showrooms, titled ‘Motoroyale,’ in major metro cities across India, exclusively for MV Agusta motorcycles. The first Motoroyale store will come up in Pune very soon, and will be followed by other dealerships across major cities in the country.
