MV Agusta has revealed the Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso with a smart clutch system or ‘SCS’ sourced by Rekluse. While this system has debuted on the sports-tourer, it is expected to feature on MV Agusta’s other motorcycles soon. Until then, you could ogle at the Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso SCS in this detailed photo gallery.
The bike is based on the Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso which sports a red and grey colour scheme and gold wheels to differentiate it from the standard model.
The sport-tourer borrows styling cues from its supersport siblings, the F3 800 and F4.
The Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso SCS sports an LED headlamp setup with turn indicators integrated in the knuckle guards.
However, to set it apart, the SCS variant gets a transparent casing for the clutch which gets a bright red finish.
MV Agusta is offering the bike in two colour schemes- red and grey along with white and grey.
It gets a single-sided swingarm with MV Agusta’s unique triple outlet exhaust that has been colour coordinated with the gold wheels.
While the semi-auto clutch shifts gears automatically, the bike also comes with a clutch lever for added control.
Powering the bike is a 798cc inline-three engine that produces 108bhp and 80 Nm of torque.
Braking is taken care of by 320mm discs for the front and a 220mm disc at the rear; both Brembo units.
The electronics package includes an eight-level traction control system, ABS and four riding modes.
