- MV Agusta LXP Orioli breaks cover
- Uses a 931cc engine
- Limited to 500 units
MV Agusta has unveiled the LXP Orioli at the ongoing EICMA 2023 held in Milan, Italy. The motorcycle serves as a tribute to the Lucky Explorer adventure motorcycle that is one of the most iconic bikes that raced at the Dakar Rally.
The Italian manufacturer has announced that the LXP Orioli will be limited to just 500 units worldwide. It is thus being positioned as a luxury ADV and is named after Edi Orioli; a rally legend from the nineties. So, all units will have a sign from him on the fuel tank too.
The MV LXP Orioli is offered only in a single paint option of white with green and red- like the original Lucky Explorer. Underneath, the motorcycle uses a 931cc, inline-three motor that churns out 124bhp at 10000rpm. Braking is done by Brembo Stylema calips at the front with dual 320mm discs.
Features include a lean sensitive ABS with traction control, ride-by-wire and ride mode- Urban, Touring, Off-rad and Custom. It also gets full-LED lighting and backlit buttons on the switchgear. Now, the motorcycle will be available in international markets soon however, it is unlikely to be launched in India since MV Agusta doesn’t have a presence in the country as of now.
