MV Agusta has unveiled a one-off custom motorcycle based on the Dragster RR. Built for one of its special customers, this motorcycle features a unique white/gold paint job.
Earlier this year, MV Agusta established the Reparto Veicoli Speciali (RVS), or Special Vehicles Department, whose sole purpose was to roll out limited edition motorcycles. While this custom Dragster RR hasn’t been developed by RVS, it certainly is exclusive enough to fit in the ranks. It features a unique dual-tone white/gold paint job, which beautifully complements the blacked-out engine and the mid-section. The frame, tank and exhaust pipes get a gold finish, while the seat and radiator cowl is painted in white. Whereas the standard Dragster RR features spoke wheels, this custom motorcycle features 17-inch alloy wheels, again featuring a gold finish. At the heart of the Dragster RR is a 798cc triple engine delivering 138bhp and 86Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission.
MV Agusta is now moving towards establishing itself a niche motorcycle manufacturer. While it will continue offering relatively affordable motorcycles like the Brutale 800, the RVS hints at a parallel approach targeted at an uber rich clientele which is willing to pay a premium for exclusivity.
