- 2020 Superveloce 800 gets two new paint schemes
- Prices for international markets revealed
- Could be offered in India later this year
MV Agusta has added new colours to the Superveloce 800’s palette for 2020.
The Superveloce 800 was unveiled at the 2019 EICMA as the production variant of Superveloce 800 Serie Oro. It was introduced in two colour combinations then- red with black and white with black. However, upon receiving feedback from potential customers from around the world, the Italian bikemaker has decided to offer the Superveloce in two new colour combinations.
One is the combination MV Agusta is famous for; the classic ‘Ago Red’ with ‘Ago Silver’. And the second is ‘Metallic Carbon Black with Metallic Dark Gray’. Both colours are complemented by matte gold-finished frame and wheels which replace the red frame and black wheels on the initially offered paint schemes.
The Superveloce 800 is based on the F3 800 which is on sale in India. However, it sports a modern-retro approach to styling with its cafe-racer bubble fairing that houses a round, full-LED headlamp. At the rear, it features a circular LED tail lamp that completes the look. Underneath the bodywork is a 798cc, inline-three cylinder engine that produces 145bhp and 88Nm of torque. And to put a leash on that power, the Superveloce 800 comes with eight-level traction control, a two-way quick shifter, and cruise control.
MV Agusta has already revealed the pricing of the Superveloce 800 in US and European markets. Nevertheless, we can expect the manufacturer to launch the motorcycle in India later this year or early 2021.
