MV Agusta is planning to roll out the next-generation model of its litre-class Brutale by 2017. Reports suggest that the supernaked will get a host of sophisticated electronic aids apart from a revised Euro4 emission norms compliant inline three engine.
Among the technological upgrades, the new Brutale would get MV Agusta’s proprietary Motor and Vehicle Integrated Control System, better known as MVICS. The MVICS system includes pre-set engine maps and user-customizable map, which work along with the traction control to unlock the full-potential of the bike. It also includes a vehicle lean sensor that coordinates with the traction and engine control systems. It will also get a launch control module with anti-wheelie and an Electronically Assisted Shift (EAS) quick-shift system.
Aesthetically, we can expect the new Brutale to draw inspiration from the new generation MV Agusta streetfighters including the Dragster and the Brutale 800. The motorcycle will make its debut early next year. For now, we will just have to trip out on this illustration.
