- Upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 250F spied
- Likely to be powered by a new 250cc oil-cooled engine
- Shares hardware with the naked Pulsar 250
The images of Bajaj's upcoming semi-faired motorcycle have surfaced online once again. This upcoming bike is likely to be called the Pulsar 250F. As it can be seen from these images, this new motorcycle sports a design similar to what we have witnessed on the Pulsar AS range. This new bike is likely to sit between the Pulsar 220F and the Dominar 250.
As can be seen in the spy images, this new motorcycle gets a flyscreen at the front, fairing-mounted rearview mirrors, semi-fairing connecting its headlamp and fuel tank, underbelly cowl, chunky exhaust, a tyre hugger, split-type seat, a lean tail section and split-type rear grab handles. This motorcycle is likely to be powered by an all-new 250cc mill that will come mated to a six-speed transmission.
This new 250cc engine is going to be an oil-cooled unit, which tells us that the company is trying to make this motorcycle much more affordable for its customers out there. From the spy images, it can be seen that the bike uses telescopic forks at the front, while it uses a mono-shock suspension at the rear. Meanwhile, for braking, it mounts a single disc on both ends. This motorcycle also uses clip-on handlebars and slightly rear-set footpegs which makes the rider lean forward slightly while riding.
While the Chakan-based vehicle manufacturer has hiked prices of its select models, it has slashed the prices of the Dominar 250. The company has also opened bookings of its Chetak electric scooter and has updated its commuter motorcycle, the Platina 110 with new colour options.
