- Spotted arriving at dealerships
- Bookings have commenced
- Asking price could be the same as that of the Pulsar P150
New images of the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N150 have surfaced on the internet. The 150cc bike seems to be making its way to Bajaj dealerships and an official launch, too, could be imminent. Additionally, unofficial bookings have commenced and the token amount is set to Rs. 1,000. But when Bajaj already has the P150, N160, and the Pulsar 150 in its line-up, where does the N150 fit? Let’s break it down.
Of the above-mentioned models, the Pulsar N160 has received a better response than the P150, and the Pulsar 150 holds a sentimental value despite having been around just for a while. Meanwhile, the P150 hasn't shone as bright as it was expected to. So, we think Bajaj could possibly bring in the new Pulsar N150 as a replacement or successor to the P150. Why, you ask? There are some notable differences between the P and the N. The Pulsar P150 is on the slimmer side, while the N range packs more bulk, similar to the Pulsar’s design language so far. With the introduction of the N150, Bajaj could expect a better pull compared to the P150.
The Pulsar P150 is powered by a 149.68cc single-cylinder engine that makes around 14bhp and 13.5Nm. The motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox and during the BikeWale fuel efficiency test, it returned 60.2kmpl. The bike rides on telescopic front forks and a monoshock with a front and rear disc brake.
We expect Bajaj to launch the Pulsar N150 in multiple colours. From the leaked images, we can already see the N150 in two paint schemes – red and white. Once launched, you can expect the Bajaj Pulsar N150 to be priced at around Rs. 1.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is similar to the P150’s pricing.
