- Powered by a 249cc single-cylinder engine
- Rides on long travel suspension
- To be launched in the international market first
Benelli is set to launch its latest 250cc offering, the BKX 250 ADV in the international market very soon. The bike was first unveiled last year and here's what we know about it.
The new Benelli ADV seems rugged and purposeful. It gets LED illumination, a sculpted fuel tank with large shrouds, a single-piece seat, and an upswept exhaust too. Not to mention, the BKX 250 also gets handlebar guards for added protection.
It draws power from a 249cc single-cylinder motor with the output rated at 26bhp and 21Nm. It's mated to a six-speed gearbox and nestled in a steel tubular frame. Benelli has equipped the new quarter-litre offering with an LCD, and a USB charging port.
The hardware setup consists of USD front forks and a linked rear shock. The braking department for the Benelli BKX 250 comprises a 280mm front and a 240mm rear single disc with ABS. It gets 17-inch spoked wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres.
Benelli is likely to launch the BKX 250 in the international market first. And if it comes to India, the BKX will have rivals like the KTM 250 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS, and the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
