- All-new Benelli TRK 800 to debut at EICMA 2021
- Will feature tubeless-tyre compatible wire-spoke wheels
- Indian launch details unavailable yet
Benelli has released a teaser video for its upcoming middleweight adventure-tourer motorcycle, the TRK 800 ahead of its EICMA 2021 debut. The teaser video gives a brief glimpse at several styling elements on the motorcycle.
This upcoming adventure-tourer from the Chinese-owned Italian two-wheeler maker will feature a semi-fairing design, a tall windscreen, split-style seats, a side-slung exhaust and wire-spoke wheels. The cross-spoke wheels on the motorcycle will be shod in tubeless tyres. The details about the feature list are unavailable although we expect to see full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster on the new TRK 800. The electronic rider aids should include selectable riding modes, ABS, and a traction control system.
The company did not give many details about the hardware in the teaser video. However, spy photographs of the motorcycle have already revealed that this middleweight adventure tourer will use upside-down telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock to handle the suspension tasks. The braking hardware will comprise twin rotors at the front and a single disc at the back.
The details about the mechanical specifications are scarce although the upcoming TRK 800 will most likely share its motor with the 752Scruiser and the Leoncino 800 scrambler. The 745cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor is tuned to produce 80bhp of peak power on the current Benelli motorcycles.
This motorcycle should reach the Indian market but its launch details are unavailable yet.
