- Bookings to commence on the launch day
- Interested buyers can reserve the Bounce Infinity for Rs 499
- Deliveries scheduled to commence next year
Bounce has announced that its first product, the Infinity electric scooter will be launched in the Indian market on 2 December, 2021. The company also stated in its press announcement that the bookings for the new electric scooter will commence after launch while the deliveries are slated for next year. Interested buyers can reserve a unit of the new Bounce Infinity for Rs 499.
The company currently has a manufacturing capacity of 1,80,000 scooters per year at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. It plans to expand the production capacity by setting up another plant in southern India.
Previously, the company had revealed several features of this new electric scooter. This new product will feature a removable Li-ion battery. Buyers can opt for the ‘Battery as a service’ option through which they have the option to purchase the Bounce Infinity electric scooter without the battery. This would reduce the price of the vehicle.
The owner can use Bounce’s battery swapping network to get a battery pack. Customers pay for the battery swaps, whenever they exchange an empty battery with a fully-charged unit at the swapping network.
