CF Moto is planning a new fully-faired motorcycle that is likely to make its world debut sometime this here. This motorcycle will be called the 450SR and is based on the SR C21 concept was showcased last year.
According to leaked pictures and approval documents, the 450SR retains majority of the design language from the concept. But there are few changes that have made the bike look more realistic and also cost effective. The fascia gets the conventional headlamps which is flanked by two LED DRLs. There are no carbon disc shrouds that were seen on the concept. The front USD forks are less fancy. The dual high-mounted SC Project exhausts have made way to a single low-mounted pipe.
In terms of performance, the 450SR will be powered by 449cc parallel-twin motor. The peak power is being claimed at 50bhp and with a wet weight of 168ks, the 450SR could become a fun motorcycle to ride. The top speed of this CF Moto is being claimed at 190kmph.
We are expecting the 450SR to be unveiled later this year at 2022 EICMA Show with world launch sometime early next year. Unfortunately, CF Moto’s India business hasn’t been to a good start. So there’s uncertainty over bringing more new motorcycles to India.
