Ducati Motor Company has revealed the new Multistrada V2 adventure-sport motorcycle for the international markets. The new motorcycle, which will replace the Multistrada 950, will be offered in two variants – Standard and S.
The new Ducati Multistrada V2 will use a Euro5-compliant 937cc Testastretta 11-degree, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 111.5bhp of power and 98Nm of peak torque. The oil change and valve clearance intervals are scheduled for every 15,000km and 30,000km, respectively. The company will also offer a 35kW (47bhp) version for A2 license holders in the European market.
The touring-focussed design comprises a semi-fairing and a tall windscreen. Other styling cues include a twin-pod headlight, a muscular fuel tank, split-style saddle, and a side-slung exhaust. Similar to its predecessor and the Multistrada V4, this new model from Ducati rides on 19-inch front/17-inch rear alloy wheels.
The standard electronic rider aids on the Multistrada V2 include cornering ABS, Vehicle Hold Control, Ducati Traction Control, and four riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro). The S variant of the motorcycle further benefits from Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO semi-active suspension system, cruise control, full-LED headlight equipped with Ducati Cornering Lights function, Ducati Quick Shift Up & Down, hands free system, a high resolution five-inch colour TFT dashboard, and backlit handlebar controls as standard.
The Ducati Red colour option is available for both variants. The S variant is also available in the new Street Grey livery with a black frame and GP Red rims. The new Multistrada V2 will be available in the international markets from November 2021. The Indian launch details are unavailable yet.
