Harley-Davidson has unveiled its most-affordable motorcycle, the X 350 for select markets. This motorcycle has been developed for developing markets and it is likely to arrive in India as well. While we await the Indian launch details of the new Harley-Davidson X 350, here we present detailed images of this new motorcycle.
The new X 350 has been developed in collaboration with China’s QJ Motors. This motorcycle has been developed by Harley-Davidson while QJ Motors will manufacture the vehicle in China.
In terms of design, the new X 350 draws styling inspiration from the Sportster XR1200X. The styling cues comprise a circular headlamp, a single-pod instrument console, a round shape for the rear-view mirrors, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank with angular edges, a stubby tail section, and an underbelly exhaust. The feature list includes an LED headlight, LED turn indicators, and an LED taillight.
The colour choices comprise three options – Dazzling Black, Joyful Orange, and Bright Silver.
The mechanical specifications include a 353cc, parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes a maximum output of 36.2bhp and a peak torque of 31Nm. This motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The suspension setup on the motorcycle includes upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock. The front forks are adjustable for the rebound while the rear mono-shock can be adjusted for rebound and preload.
The X 350 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and uses single discs on both ends to handle the braking duties. The setup at the front uses four-piston calipers while the rear gets a single-piston caliper. The motorcycle has been priced at 33,388 Yuan (Rs 3.93 lakh) in the Chinese market.
