- New Hero Glamour to launch soon
- Gets LED headlight and navigation
- Hero Glamour Xtec launched
Hero Motocorp seems to be going aggressive on updating its product portfolio. Recently, the company gave a cosmetic update to its 125cc scooter, the Maestro Edge 125, and has also launched the new Glamour Xtec variant. Now, the company has teased the upcoming Hero Glamour through its social media handles.
The new Hero Glamour will replace the ongoing model and will receive cosmetic as well as minor mechanical revisions. As per the teaser images and videos, it can be seen that the new model will get an LED headlamp, H-shaped DRL, new Gloss Black paint scheme and a fully digital instrument cluster that displays turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts via Bluetooth connectivity. The digital dash will also display gear position indicator, time and motorcycle service alert.
The bike will be powered by the same 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivers 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6,000rpm. This engine will come mated to a five-speed transmission. Meanwhile, the ride will be taken care of by telescopic forks at the front and five-step adjustable hydraulic dual shock absorbers at the rear.
Considering the upgrades made to the new model, we expect the new bike to be priced at a slight premium compared to the one that is on sale right now. The prices of the Hero Glamour right now start at Rs 74,500 ex-showroom (Mumbai). While we await more details related to its styling, specifications and launch date, you can stay tuned to BikeWale, and we'll keep you posted.
