- New Passion XPro spotted
- Gets revised headlamp unit
- India launch soon
Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch the new Passion XPro. The company has started shooting this new bike for TV and digital commercials.
From these pictures, it is clear that the new Passion X Pro gets some significant aesthetic changes. The most obvious one is on the fascia, which now receives a brand-new headlamp. This unit sports a split design – the top part has a high beam, whereas the below section has a low beam. An ‘H’ shaped DRL has been placed between both lights.
The new windscreen has gone more prominent and is fully blacked out. The fuel tank cowl has been redesigned and now sports aggressive styling. The new matte finish paint scheme makes the bike look more aspirational.
In terms of performance, the new Passion XPro will get its power from the same 110cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This engine makes around 8bhp at 7000rpm and a peak torque of 9Nm at 5500rpm. This motor is mated to a four-speed gearbox.
The new Hero Passion XPro is already on sale in markets like Bangladesh. The India launch may have been delayed for the bike to meet the OBD2 requirement. But now that all new bikes must meet this compliance, it made sense for Hero to launch the new Passion XPro in India.
