- Honda CB150R Streetfire introduced in Indonesia
- Prices start at IDR 29,700,000
- Gets a top-speed of 125kmph
Honda Motors has launched the third generation of the CB150R Streetfire in the Indonesian market. The street naked model surely looks sharp and muscular in terms of the design, complemented by its robust 12-litre fuel tank, front shrouds, underbelly pan and tapered handlebars. It also gets features like all LED lights and a fully digital instrument cluster.
Powering the bike is an 149.16cc PGM-FI engine that sits in a trellis frame and produces 16.67bhp of power at 9000rpm and 13.8Nm of torque at 7000rpm. This allows it to hit a top speed of 125kmph. All this power is put down via a six-speed manual transmission. For effective braking, it mounts wavy disc brakes on both ends. And, the bike ride is taken care of by Showa 37mm inverted forks at the front and swing arm with a single suspension at the rear.
The CB150R Streetfire is available with two colour options for the Standard variant and is priced at IDR 29,700,000 OTR which converts to Rs 1.53 lakh. Meanwhile, there is also a Special Edition on offer which gets three different Matte colour options and is priced at IDR 30,700,000 OTR which converts to Rs 1.58 lakh. It goes up against the Suzuki GSX 150 Bandit, Benelli TNT 135, Yamaha Vixion R and Viar Vintech in terms of design and displacement. However, its arrival here seems pretty difficult.
