- Will be called the CB350
- Features slightly different styling than that of the Hness and the RS models
- Priced at Rs. 2 lakh
Honda India has launched a new model in its retro offering range, called the CB350. It is based on the existing 350cc platform from the Japanese brand but there are subtle differences that set the CB350 apart from the Hness CB350 and the CB350RS.
Honda has retained the old-school design and adorned the CB350 with a round LED headlight. This unit is topped by a chrome bezel for certain colour schemes, while the other options get a matte finish. Honda is offering multiple paint options with the CB350, including Precious Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Crust Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic, and Matte Dune Brown. All the colours get a tanned brown leather seat, except the black paint option, which uses a body-coloured seat cover.
Powering the new CB350 is the same 348.36cc, air-cooled, engine that dishes 20.78bhp and 30Nm. It is linked to a five-speed gearbox and comes nestled in a double-cradle form. This setup is suspended on telescopic front forks and gas-charged rear springs. The braking hardware comprises a 310mm front and 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. These are mounted on alloy wheels wrapped in road-biased tyres.
Along with all LED illumination, the new Honda CB350 comes with a Honda Smartphone Voice Control system, Honda Selectable Torque Control, and an emergency stop signal.
You can purchase the Honda CB350 in two variants – DLX and DLX PRO. The base trim costs Rs. 1,99,900 while the top-spec CB350 retails at Rs. 2,17,800 (both ex-showroom, Delhi). It rivals the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
