- New Honda PCX 125 maxi-scooter revealed in Indonesia
- Gets new paint schemes
- Powered by 156cc engine
Honda has taken the wraps off the 2023 PCX maxi-scooter. This new model has been launched for the Indonesian market – a country where Honda has a significant market share.
For 2023, the Japanese brand has given this maxi-scooter a range of new colours. These new paint schemes are vibrant and expected to provide Honda with good sales numbers in the South-Asian country. Honda offers the PCX 125 in two variants – CBS and ABS. Both these variants are now being offered in new colours.
The more affordable PCX 160 CBS is offered in magnificent red, wonderful white, royal matte blue and brilliant black. The top-end version - the PCX 160 ABS- is offered in four colours - imperial matte blue, wonderful white, majestic matte red, and glorious matte black.
The 2023 Honda PCX gets its power from a 156cc engine which makes around 16bhp and 15Nm of peak torque. This scooter also gets an updated exhaust system, a redesigned air intake, a hydraulic cam tensioner, a new crankshaft, and an ACG starter found in the Activa 6G. Honda had showcased an older version of the PCX in India a few years ago but never intended to launch it. But we believe Honda can position this scooter as a premium product and sell it through its BigWing showrooms, where it sells motorcycles with 300cc displacement and above.
