- New Indian Scouty Sixty unveiled
- Gets Classic, Bobber variants
- Unlikely to be launched in India
Indian Motorcycle has relaunched its famous Scout Sixty brand with two new models – the Classic and the Bobber with new engines.
Built around the Scout platform, the Scout Sixty models get new aesthetics, new frame and engine and also some new and modern features. From the pictures, it is clear that these bikes have received some major design changes on the front profile and also on the side. Out of both the bikes, the Bobber looks far cooler and aspirational.
The Scout Sixty Classic and Bobber are powered by a new 999cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine that makes 84bhp of peak power and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Due to this output figure, the bike qualifies for an A2 licence in Europe.
The clusters on these bikes are new and digital in nature. These bikes are also sold with cruise control, USB charger, and multiple riding modes but sadly these features are available only with the top-spec Limited models.
The new Indians will be launched in Europe soon and the deliveries are expected to commence from early 2025. Sadly, these bikes won’t come to India anytime soon as the company doesn’t sell the bikes in India anymore.
