- Sinnis GPX 125 launched in Europe
- Competes against the KTM RC 125
- Won’t be launched in India
The KTM RC 125 will be facing stiff competition from its newly-launched rival, the Sinnis GPX 125, in certain European markets. Sinnis is a UK-based small-capacity two-wheeler manufacturer and the GPX 125 is its first fully-faired motorcycle.
The styling of the GPX 125 is quite radical with its dual headlamps being mounted on the sides of the fairing, leaving space for a faux air-intake on the nose. The nicely contorted and sculpted fairing blends with the muscular fuel tank and a pointed tail section. Sinnis is offering the bike in two colour options including Carbon Black and Ultimate Grey.
With a full-LED lighting setup and a fancy-looking colour LCD cluster, the GPX 125 is decently equipped. Propelling the bike is a 125cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out 12.5bhp of power and 10.67Nm of peak torque which is slightly lower than the RC 125. Riding on 17-inch alloy wheels, it is suspended by premium upside-down forks and a monoshock. Stopping power comes from a single disc brake at both ends.
The GPX 125 has already arrived at Sinnis dealerships in the UK with a price tag of £3299 (approximately Rs 3.31 lakh). The motorcycle won’t be launched in India.
