KYT India introduced a new touring helmet at India Bike Week 2022. The latest lid has been targeted at touring usage and is dubbed the R2R Foggia Misano Replica. The R2R series replaces the current NFR model on sale in India.
On the design front, the KYT R2R looks pretty much like a track/racing helmet, thanks to the sharp chin design and a spoiler at the rear. KYT has equipped it with a couple of vents at the top and a central unit below the visor lock. It comes with a double D-ring lock mechanism, which also makes it eligible for track use.
The R2R Foggia Misano Replica has been constructed from an advanced thermoplastic shell. KYT claims that this helmet has been wind tested and comes with a sun visor to suffice its touring purpose. Moreover, the KYT R2R also adheres to ECE, DOT, and ISI certifications.
Overall, KYT will offer its new helmet in six sizes ranging from extra small (XS) to double extra large (XXL). It also gets a pin lock insert for added convenience to avoid vision distortion caused by internal fogging of the visor.
