- 2019 Mojo 300 ABS to be available in blue and black
- Launching very soon
Mahindra will soon officially launch the new Mojo 300 ABS in India. This bike was spotted a few times and even the official technical specifications was revealed.
Now, thanks to a Mahindra dealership in Bengaluru, we now know that the Mojo 300 ABS will be available in two colour options –black and blue. The overall styling remains similar to the order models. This bike was previous called the Mojo UT300 and Mojo XT300. The company will only sell one model which gets its power from the same 295cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. However, the power figures now stand at 26bhp at 7500rpm. The Mojo UT300 used to make around 23bhp whereas the XT which was a fuel-injected model churned out 27bhp. The motor continues to be mated to the same six-speed gearbox that transfers power to the rear wheel via a chain drive.
The new Mojo retains the same twin-pod headlight but misses out on LED DRLs. The cluster now gets an ABS indicator and the bottom, and the golden frame has been replaced by black one. Rest of the cycle parts like the tyres, suspension setup and the brakes will be borrowed from the older models. Dual-channel ABS is standard.
Mahindra will launch this new Mojo with a considerable price hike but it should cost less than the Bajaj Dominar 400 which is a value for money motorcycle.
