- New design registration image leaked online
- Gets X-Cape like styling
- Powered by a V-twin motor
Moto Morini could be working on a new ADV motorcycle and its design registration images have been leaked online. The pictures reveal details about its engine, bodywork, hardware and more. Let’s have a look.
On the design front, the upcoming Moto Morini ADV’s fascia seems to be inspired by the current X-Cape. It gets a flat split LED headlight setup topped by a fairly large windscreen. The fuel tank is wide and could boast a large capacity to suffice the ADV’s touring needs. The split setup too appears spacious for both, rider and pillion.
The design registration images reveal that the bike will be powered by a V-twin motor. The layout appears similar to the 1200cc motor used by Moto Morini’s yesteryear model. The casting appears new but the overall setup appears the same. It’s nestled in a trellis frame and the bike gets a cast aluminum swingarm.
It rides on USD front forks and a monoshock setup while the braking hardware comprises twin front discs and a single rear disc. It’ll be equipped with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels. But it’s unlikely to be a hardcore off-roading motorcycle. The design registration also shows the bike with a bash plate for added safety.
We think it’ll be a while before the bikemaker makes an official announcement for the new model. That said, Moto Morini has entered the Indian market and is set to launch its middleweight bikes very soon.
