- Will be based on a brand-new platform
- Motorcycle undergoing tests already
- Will be available in two variants
MV Agusta’s CEO, Timur Sardarov recently confirmed in an interview that the Italian two-wheeler brand will introduce a 950cc adventure motorcycle in 2023. The new model, similar to other middleweight MV Agusta models, will feature an inline three-cylinder setup. He also confirmed that the new model will be based on an all-new platform.
Sardarov said that it’s a brand-new platform, with a brand-new engine that is already in testing and will arrive in the last quarter of next year, with the model year of 2023. He added that the new model will represent all of the knowledge of MV Agusta and the pinnacle of the company’s engineering capabilities. The upcoming model will pack a lot of smart features in terms of the way the engine performs, delivers power and the torque curve.
The adventure motorcycle will come in two variants. One variant will feature more power, less torque while the other will pack less power, more torque.
The adventure-spec model should pack a rugged design. Expect the motorcycle to come equipped with wire-spoke wheels, full-LED lighting, and a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster. The vehicle should also benefit from a plethora of rider aids.
