- New Brutale 1000RS in the making - Friendlier version of 1000RR - Likely to debut at EICMA 2021 MV Agusta is planning to expand its product portfolio by launching another litre-class naked motorcycle. This bike will be called the Brutale 1000RS. According to some details leaked via type-approval document, the Italian brand will sell this new bike alongside the Brutale 1000RR. The RS is based on the RR version but gets a few changes that made MV Agusta launch it as a separate model. For starters, the RS is likely to be positioned as a motorcycle primarily to be used on road, thanks to a more comfortable riding position. The same type-approval documents reveal the handlebar is placed a bit higher and also is 30mm wider than that on the Brutale RR. There are also some rumours about the RS getting a much softer suspension setup - something that will go with its road bike character. In terms of performance, the RS is likely to borrow the same engine from the RR. In fact, the overall power output will be similar too at 206bhp at 13000rpm. Other bits like cycle parts, features could also be borrowed from the RR. We can expect MV Agusta to take the wraps of the upcoming Brutale 1000RS at this year’s EICMA 2021 Show in Milan, Italy.
