- Simple Energy Dot One launch on 15 December
- Expected to be priced under Rs 1 lakh
- Offers a claimed IDC range if 160km
Simple Energy, the Bengaluru-based startup behind the Simple One e-scooter has announced the launch of the Dot One in India on 15 December.
The company says that the new electric scooter will be priced under Rs 1 lakh, putting it in direct contention with the Ola S1 X. Well, the difference between the One and Dot One is the battery pack. It will use a 3.7kWh battery that offers a claimed IDC range of 160km. However, Simple hasn’t revealed the performance figures on the Dot One yet.
That said, we expect the Simple Dot One to be cosmetically similar to the One and come with aggressive bodywork and fancy colour options. As for features, it will be launched with a touchscreen TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. We won’t have to wait long for more details since the launch of the new electric scooter is just around the corner.
