Pune-based electric motorcycle manufacturer, Tork Motors, has announced the launch of a new variant of the Kratos-R. This new trim is called Urban, and it is priced at Rs 1,67,499 (ex-showroom, Pune).
The new Urban trim is based on the existing Kratos-R, and it comes with fewer features than the standard model.This version comes with a ‘City’ ride mode that boasts a top speed of 70kmph and a range of over 100km per charge.
Meanwhile, the styling and powertrain, of the Urban variant remain similar to the rest of the portfolio. It will be sold in three colours – Streaky Red, Oceanic Blue, and Midnight Black. Meanwhile, it is equipped with a 4.0kWh Li-ion battery pack that comes with an IP67 rating. This battery pack powers an ‘Axial Flux’ motor.
Initially, buyers will be able to enjoy the complete suite of features for a period of 30 days. This includes multiple ride modes (Eco, City, and Sports), reverse mode, fast charging, in-app navigation, live dash over Bluetooth, vehicle locator, anti-theft system, geofencing, charging point location, OTA updates, ride analytics, track mode analytics, smart analytics and guide me home lights. Later, owners willing to get these features unlocked will be able to do so at Rs 20,000 within six months of purchase.
The new Kratos-R Urban trim will be sold via Tork Experience Zones across India, starting 15 August, 2023.
