- Likely to debut at EICMA 2022
- Could borrow the engine from the F 850 GS or the F 900 R
- Gets spoked wheels and a thorough AVD build
Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer, Voge, is set to unveil one of its upcoming ADVs, the 900DS very soon. Its production-ready model has been spotted revealing the majority of the details before Voge takes the wraps off at EICMA 2022.
The Voge 900DS features a thorough ADV build. It features a split LED headlight topped by a transparent visor. The 900DS also gets a secondary beak hinting at its off-roading focus. It even sports an upswept exhaust, an engine crash guard, and a tail rack as well.
That said, it’s likely to be powered by an 853cc twin motor from the F 850 GS or the 895cc parallel twin engine from the F 900 R. Not to mention, BMW and Loncin have ties and share motor for the bikes. So, it won’t be a surprise if the 900DS gets the same motor as the BMW ADV.
For the underpinnings, it gets USD front forks and a monoshock, and the braking setup includes dual front discs and a single rear disc with dual-channel ABS. It rides on spoked wheels wrapped in road-biased rubbed. Vogue has equipped the 900DS with a quickshifter, and a TFT display.
Once launched, it’ll rival the F 850 GS, Triumph Tiger 900, and the Africa Twin as well. That said, its entry into India is unlikely.
