- Spotted at a dealer event
- Features the same bodywork as that of the current Yezdi Scrambler
- Equipped with a new two-in-one exhaust
Just a couple of days ago, we received the upcoming Yezdi Scrambler-based, new bike’s images. And now, it seems that there could be another model based on the same bike in the works. This one, too, was showcased at a dealer event and had the Yezdi Streetfighter badging on it.
It seems that the Yezdi Streetfighter could borrow its entire bodywork and styling from the current Yezdi Scrambler. The new model is equipped with the same LED headlight, turn indicators, ribbed seat, wide handlebar, side panels, and fuel tank, sans the grip. Even the single-pod instrument cluster mounted on the right side appears identical to the one we have seen on the Scrambler.
One of the major styling and functional changes on the upcoming Yezdi Streetfighter is the exhaust setup. It is equipped with a two-in-one canister setup on the right side. Its hardware includes telescopic front forks with gaiters, dual rear shocks, single disc at both ends with ABS, and spoke wheels wrapped in CEAT Crossrad tyres.
Moreover, the side panels also have the ‘334’ sticker, which likely indicates the engine capacity. And we expect the Yezdi Streetfighter to get the same 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from the Scrambler if it goes into production. For reference, this engine makes 29.36bhp and 28.21Nm. It will be linked to a six-speed gearbox.
Looking at the spy shots of the Yezdi Streetfighter from the dealer event, the bike seems to be in the pre-production stage. But whether it heads to the production line will be revealed in the next few months.
