Oben Electric has announced the launch of its first product, the Rorr electric motorcycle at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom post FAME-II subsidy). This new model from the electric two-wheeler maker is currently available only in Bengaluru. The deliveries of the new Rorr electric motorcycle are scheduled to start in July 2022.
The styling cues on the new Oben Rorr electric motorcycle include a round headlight, sleek LED turn indicators, a large instrument cluster, split-style seats, two-piece pillion grabrail, and five-spoke alloy wheels. The electric motorcycle boasts a top speed of 100kmph and delivers an IDC certified range of 200km per charge through its fixed battery pack. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a belt-drive system.
The hardware on the Rorr comprises telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock to handle the suspension tasks. The braking setup includes single discs on both wheels while the safety net includes a combined braking system.
The competition is limited and the new Oben Rorr will rival the Revolt RV series in the Indian market.
