To mark the festival of Dussehra, Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler brand Oben has announced a bunch of offers for its electric motorcycle, the Rorr. With these offers, potential buyers of the Rorr stand a chance to get as much as Rs. 60,000 discount on the e-bike.
Till 12 October, Oben is offering a flat discount of Rs. 30,000 on the Rorr. This brings the ex-showroom price of the bike down from Rs. 1.50 lakh to Rs. 1.20 lakh. This will be accompanied by a free five-year extended warranty. Plus, Oben will be hosting one-day events in Delhi on 2 October and in Pune on 6 October where select lucky customers will be able to avail of a Rs. 60,000 discount and buy the motorcycle at Rs. 90,000, ex-showroom. Through a lucky draw, the company will also select customers to give away electronic gadgets like the iPhone 15.
These offers might be the result of Oben not getting the expected response for the Rorr. The company is certainly attempting to make the most of the festive season and the higher buying sentiment during this period. Notably, this is the third discount announcement for the electric motorcycle since its launch.
The Oben Rorr is powered by an 8kW electric motor that is linked to a 4.4kWh battery. The Rorr is capable of hitting a top speed of 100kmph and its battery runs out of juice after covering 187km. In terms of features, the bike gets LED illumination, a digital screen, three ride modes, and a USB charging port.
