- Limited to the first 100 customers in Delhi
- It is introduced as an introductory offer
- Includes the Rs. 20,000 state subsidy discount
Oben is offering a Rs. 40,000 discount on its Rorr electric motorcycle. The pricing is now set at Rs. 1.10 lakh instead of Rs. 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). However, there is a catch here. The said Rs. 40,000 discount includes the Rs. 20,000 subsidy benefit. Moreover, it is only valid for the first 100 customers who purchase the Oben Rorr from the brand’s recently opened dealership in Delhi.
The Rorr electric motorcycle is also priced at Rs. 1.50 lakh everywhere else. Currently, it is available in five cities – Pune, Bengaluru, Trivandrum, Delhi, and Kochi. We tested the bike last year and here is our take on it. While this discount does seem attractive, it is an introductory offer and has more to do with fetching sales since this is the first Oben Rorr dealership in Delhi, and it could help the brand gain traction in the early months.
For reference, the Oben Rorr gets an 8kW motor linked to a 4.4kWh battery. The setup claims to offer 100kmph top speed and 187km range. On the feature front, it only gets LED illumination, a digital screen, three ride modes, and a USB charging port. The bike also comes with a storage area in the tank but the flap to it is quite flimsy.
Apart from Oben, the current Indian electric motorcycle range only includes the Revolt RV400, Tork Kratos, and the Matter Aera.
