Oben Electric has announced the launch of its new product, the Rorr electric motorcycle in the Indian market at an ex-showroom (Bengaluru) price tag of Rs 99,999. This product from Oben Electric is only available in Bengaluru for now, but the company plans to expand its reach in the coming months. While the brand makes further announcement about the availability of the Rorr in other cities, we bring you a detailed image gallery of the electric motorcycle here.
The styling cues on the new Oben Rorr electric motorcycle remind of the Honda CB300R. The neo-retro design includes a round headlight, sleek LED turn indicators, and five-spoke alloy wheels.
The setup also includes a flat handlebar, split-style seats and a two-piece pillion grabrail.
The cockpit includes a massive display that shows information such as the speedometer, odometer, range, battery level, and the ride mode selected. The console is Bluetooth enabled and it works with Oben’s smartphone app. The safety aids on the Oben Rorr include combined braking system, theft protection, and rider alert system.
The three ride modes include Eco, City, and Havoc. The top speed of the electric scooter is rated at 100kmph, which is achievable in the Havoc mode. The Eco and City modes restrict the top speed to 50kmph and 70kmph, respectively.
The motorcycle boasts an IDC certified range of 200km per charge through its fixed battery pack. The company claims a true range of 150km in Eco mode, 120km in City mode, and 100km in Havoc mode. The battery pack can be charged via a 15A domestic charger.
The suspension hardware on the Rorr comprises telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock. The braking tasks are handled by single discs on both wheels.
