Oben Electric has announced its entry into the electric two-wheeler segment of the Indian market by unveiling its new product, the Rorr motorcycle. This new model is part of the four products that the company plans to introduce over the next two years.
The Oben Rorr electric motorcycle will be launched in India in the first quarter (January-March) of 2022. Its deliveries are scheduled to start in the second quarter (April-June) of this year.
The company has revealed the product along with a few specifications ahead of its launch. The new Oben Rorr features a roadster design. The front fascia comprises a round headlight with sleek LED turn indicators. The cockpit features a large display. However, its details are not available at the moment. Other elements include split-style seats, two-piece pillion grabrail, and five-spoke alloy wheels.
The details about the mechanical specifications are scarce. However, the company has confirmed that the Oben Rorr will boast a top speed of 100kmph and deliver an IDC certified range of 200km per charge. The electric motor will be powered by a fixed battery pack. This new electric motorcycle will arrive in the Rs 1- 1.5 lakh price range and it will be available in a single variant at launch.
