Ahmedabad-based electric two-wheeler brand, Odysse Electric, launched its latest two-wheeler, the Vader. It’s priced at Rs. 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Ahmedabad), and here’s what the new EV offers.
The Odysse Vader features commuter-style bodywork. It gets a round LED headlight, a slim tank, and a split seat. The battery setup is placed right below the tank and covered by large side panels. Odysse has powered the Vader with a 3kW motor, giving the bike a claimed top speed of 85kmph. It’s linked to a 3.7kWh battery that offers a range of 125km in the Eco mode.
On the feature front, the Odysse Vader is equipped with three ride modes, reverse mode, a seven-inch instrument console, navigation, live tracking, immobilization, Geo-fencing, as well as low battery alert. It rides on telescopic front forks, and dual rear shocks and gets a front/rear disc brake setup. The latter is mounted on alloy wheels wrapped in road-biased tyres.
With the above-mentioned asking price, the Odysse Vader has the Ola S1, TVS iQube S, Revolt RV 400 and a few other electric two-wheelers in its crosshairs.
