OK Play has made its foray in the Indian market with the unveiling of its range of electric two wheelers. The company aims to capture 10 per cent share of the market in the country over the next three years.
Initially, OK Play will launch six electric bikes - E Letriko, E Bravo, M-Ezee, Funk E, Self E and E Trend. These bikes are being promoted as eco-friendly and lightweight modes of transport, ideal for beginners as well as existing scooter users. These bikes will have an overall range of 80km with a top speed of 40kmph.
OK Play will be setting up manufacturing plants in Sohna, Kurukshertra, Surat, Ahmednagar, Ranipet, Kolkata, Guwahati and in Cuttack. The overall capacity of these plants will amount to 96,000 vehicles per year. The company will announce prices and launch its e-bike range over the next few weeks.
