- Ola Electric sets up new facility in UK
- Will be used for vehicle design and more
Ola Electric is planning to setup a new automobile development facility in UK. This setup is being called the Ola Futurefoundry and will be based out of Coventry, UK.
The company claims that this new facility will be used for engineering and vehicle design and will work in-synch with the team based out of Bengaluru. Both two-wheelers and four-wheelers will be developed here. Ola Electric also claims that it will develop new energy systems like cell technologies in this facility.
Ola Electric currently sells the S1 Pro electric-scooter in the country. While it managed to gain lots of bookings, the delivery process hasn’t been smooth for the buyers. Ola’s customers are dealing with long wait, poor customer service along with forceful upgrade to S1 Pro from S1 variant.
