Ola introduced its fresh line-up of upgraded e-scooters alongside four quirky electric bike concepts just over a week ago, on Independence Day. Now, recent developments reveal that Ola has taken steps to trademark four names in line with these concepts.
Taking the spotlight during the event was the Diamondhead sportsbike concept. Of the lot, this model donned the most audacious design. However, sources suggest that the eventual production model might deviate from the concept design and embrace a more practical and market-ready appearance.
In addition to the Diamondhead, Ola has secured trademarks for three other names: M1 Adventure, M1 Cruiser, and M1 Cyber Racer. While the M1 Adventure and the Cruiser clearly suggest what they can offer, the M1 Cyber Racer moniker has sparked intrigue among the audience and hints at Ola's take on a high-performance roadster.
At the event, the Bengaluru-based manufacturer also discreetly hinted at a potential launch towards the end of 2024, suggesting that this electric motorcycle venture is still in its development stage. In terms of rivals, there are no direct competitors to the M1 Adventure, M1 Cruiser, and the Diamondhead as of now. Meanwhile, the Cyber Racer will face competition from the Ultraviolette F77.
