Ola Electric is planning to enter the world of electric motorcycles sometime next year. This development was announced during the launch of its most affordable electric scooter – the S1 Air.
The top honcho believes that there’s a big market for electric bikes in the country and there are barely any options as of now. Mr Aggarwal, CEO, of Ola, added that he isn’t impressed with the electric motorcycles that are currently being launched in India.
As of now, there are barely any details on this product, but the company is planning to play with new tech to help it build a good EV. The company also plans to sell electric cars; over the last few months, there have been teasers around the same. However, developing and producing electric vehicles are far more difficult than making electric two-wheelers.
