August is just a few days away, and Ola Electric has a tradition of unveiling new products on 15 August. For this year, there could be something more interesting because the company’s rumoured IPO is around the corner, and it is always good to create some hype around it.
The top honcho of the company released a teaser video on social media of him riding a two-wheeler. From this three-second video, it is clear that the bike looks like an entry-level motorcycle and based on his seating triangle and body posture, the bike looks quite small – possibly a product that belongs to the 110cc-125cc segment. Interestingly, there have been no information or rumours about Ola developing a mass-market electric bike.
The company had revealed a range of electric motorcycle concepts last year, but none of these bikes have made it to production. In fact, there’s a high chance of only one or two motorcycles entering the production stage. However, the timeline isn’t known yet.
As of now, there aren’t many details on this bike. This video could also be released to create excitement and hype for the upcoming Ola Electric IPO.
