Ola wants to sell more electric scooters, motorcycles

-         Ola to launch two motorcycles in 2024

-         One premium e-bike planned for India

-         Also has plans to build adventure electric bikes

Ola Electric has revealed some of its plans. The company wants to expand its electric two-wheeler portfolio by launching a mass-market scooter, a premium motorcycle and a mass-market motorcycle in the next few years.

This new development was revealed on the company’s official website through a blog post penned by Bhavish Agarwal, CEO of Ola Electric. The first product in the presentation was a mass-market scooter which is likely to be the Ola S. This scooter was launched under a lakh a few months ago. Still, the deliveries to its customers are yet to commence, which is expected to occur in early 2023. Ola has also planned for two electric motorcycles that will debut in 2024. But as of now, there aren’t many details other than two simple logos shown in the image.

Ola Electric is planning to become a full-fledged EV product and services company. It also has plans to build and sell electric cars in the future. However, only time will tell if the company will succeed as an EV maker or will continue to be only known as a cab aggregator.
