- One Moto Electa e-scooter launched
- Offers a battery range of 150kms
- Features a neo-retro design
One-Moto, a British electric two-wheeler brand, has launched its third product in India, the Electa. The company introduced the e-scooter at the EV India Expo with an exorbitant price tag of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The most unique trait of the Electa is its modern-retro design, something that’s uncommon amongst electric two-wheelers. With a round headlamp, curved footboard section, and neat-looking rounded body panels, it resembles the Vespa range of scooters to some extent. In line with its vintage design theme is the circular instrument cluster that shows the necessary date. It’s also compatible with the brand’s smartphone app that packs in features like geo-fencing, IoT, Bluetooth, maintenance alerts, and commuting behaviour.
Another noteworthy aspect of the Electa is its respectable battery range of 150kms. The battery capacity stands at 72V45Ah which is a removable lithium-ion unit. This battery pack is said to take four hours to charge completely. What’s more, its 72V3.2kW brushless DC hub motor takes it to a maximum speed of 100kmph. Weighing at 115kg, the load-carrying capacity of the Electa is 150kg.
Online and offline bookings of the Electa have already begun while deliveries will commence in February 2022. The company has a total of 75 dealerships in India and it aims to expand exponentially by the end of this financial year.
