Petronas Lubricants International (PLI) has launched the Petronas Sprinta with UltraFlex, its flagship range of motorcycle lubricants formulated to resist engine stress and promote a longer bike life. The company believes that the new range of motorcycle lubricants addresses the core requirements of motorcycle riders who want reliable and better quality rides.
Petronas Sprinta claims that their lubricant has the ability to provide superior oil film strength which is 41 per cent higher than the industry benchmark. This helps the engine handle severe mechanical stress and high temperatures inside the engine, especially since a majority of bike owners prefer to primarily commute by their motorcycles. The lubricant claims to address the rattling noise and sluggish performance which is otherwise generally experienced with any other regular lubricant usage. Moreover, Petronas Sprinta also claims to offer exceptional deposit control, thereby maintaining power and ride quality.
Speaking about the modern technological advancement, Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of PLI, Giuseppe D'Arrigo, said, "For a majority of bike owners, motorcycle is the primary mode of transport for their daily commutes, usually under heavy traffic conditions. This potentially leads to extensive usage and heavy load on the motorcycle, putting a lot of stress on the engine."
Adding further, he said, “Combining our century-long expertise in lubricant technology and consumer-focused innovation, Petronas Sprinta with UltraFlex technology is formulated with a strong oil film that enhances oil stability to address the diverging effects of bike stress. Ultimately, our aim is to address the very issues that motorcycle owners face to provide better riding experience and longer bike life.” The new range of Petronas Sprinta lubricant is available globally, in a phased manner, starting today.
