French bike manufacturers Peugeot Motorcycles and DAB Motors have entered a partnership to manufacture electric motorcycles. With this collaboration, Peugeot will help DAB Motors to scale up its production capacity and introduce its electric motorcycles in the European market.

The first motorcycle to come out of this partnership is the DAB Motors Concept-E. It is a lightweight urban roadster with modern street retro styling. The bike is equipped with a 12bhp electric motor that churns out 60Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle features a 4.7kWh, 51.8V Li-ion battery pack that offers a range of 100km and a top speed of 100kph.

Peugeot will help DAB Motors to produce the Concept-E at its factory in Mandeure, France. This will allow the electric bike to be produced on an industrial scale and made available to a wider audience. This partnership is a good sign for the future of electric motorcycles and shows French bike makers’ commitment to making electric motorcycles a reality.
