Borrowing styling cues from the Honda X-ADV, the Peugeot XP400 is styled like a rugged, go-anywhere kind of scooter. It is being offered in two trims- Allure and GT. While the former is road-focused using alloy wheels, the latter is focused on off-road riding and comes with spoke wheels as standard. And these 17-inch front and 15-inch rear units which are pretty large for a scooter. Moreover, both variants also come shod with dual-purpose rubber.
Now, the XP400 scooter is powered by a 400cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out 36.7bhp that is on par with its maxi-scooter rivals from Yamaha and Honda. With that said, the Peugeot XP400 is a hefty scooter weighing in at 231kg. Suspension travel from the inverted forks up front is 140mm while damping at the rear is done by a horizontally mounted monoshock. Meanwhile, braking is done with twin disc up front and a single disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS.
As for features and tech, the Peugeot XP400 is equipped with a five-inch colour TFT display, a USB charging port and large amounts of storage space under the seat. While the XP400 will be available in Europe in early 2023, it will not be launched in India anytime soon.
