Piaggio One electric scooter has been revealed ahead of its launch. The electric scooter will debut at the Beijing Motor Show on 28 May 2021. The Italian automaker is planning to offer the One electric scooter globally. However, it will be initially available in Europe from the end of June 2021.
The company is targeting young consumers for One electric scooter by unveiling it via tik tok. The electric scooter will get features like all LED lights, a coloured digital instrument cluster, a keyless start system and two motor maps.
It will get a relaxed riding position, a low seat height, a flat footplate and pull-out footpegs for the passenger. The electric scooter will be available with multiple versions offering different power and range options. Powering the electric scooter will be a removable lithium-ion battery that can be charged at home or office.
The company has not yet revealed the details related to its colour options or the India launch date. However, if it arrives in India it will compete against the likes of the Bajaj Chetak EV, TVS iQube and the upcoming Suzuki Burgman Street electric.
