- Super Meteor, Shotgun 650 spotted
- Ready to hit the production line
- Launch delayed to April-June
We were the first ones to tell about the Royal Enfield Super Meteor and the Shotgun 650 and now, we bring you a teased picture of the production ready models.
The Super Meteor 650 is a cruiser version of the Interceptor whereas the Shotgun 650, which is right now called SG650 in its concept form, is a single-seater bobber variant. The Super Meteor launch was earlier planned in January but it has now been delayed to April-June quarter. The SG650 will most likely launch during the same time.
From this picture, it is clear that both the bikes are ready to hit the production-line. The Super Meteor is seen with a large windscreen and also saddle stays whereas the SG650 still has some testing equipment on it. Both these bikes are being developed to cater to the international markets as the company believes the cruiser and bobber segments are much bigger outside India.
Once launched, the Super Meteor 650 and the Shotgun 650 will be two of the most expensive Royal Enfields sold in India.
